What activities or ideas do you use when facilitating the ISW?
At Bow Valley College, participants shared ideas with one another related to any aspect of the ISW. Please share yours here, modify the layout if you like & add additional sections where needed. Feel free to link to handouts, website or add your name (link to your contact information).
Instead of using the pre-printed feedback sheets, invite participants to use post-its to share feedback. Participants put the post-its on the FC paper as they share their oral feedback. Post-its can be various shapes, colours or can be pre-printed with messages (finish the sentence) for the participant/learners
These videos are included in the blended version of the ISW. They were created using xtranormal.com and then edited using Windows Movie Maker.

Create a number of statements that may reveal teaching perspective, experiences, motivations and / or learning styles of participants. Ask participants to stand if a statement is true for them (squat is sort of true).
Choose a topic ie. steps of BOPPPS, each particiapnt chooses or is given one of the steps to sell to another person.
Can be done in two lines facing each other. One lines sells their item/step to other person. Lines can then move one place and do again. Continue as needed. When gets boring, both lines sell at same time to each other. Usually gets loud and then they are ready to move on.
